Registering for the Lithuania Constitution Exam: MIGRIS

If you are applying for a leidimas nuolat gyventi (permanent residence permit) or Lithuanian citizenship, you register for the constitution exam through the state MIGRIS system — a separate registration through NSA is not required in this case, since both exams (language and constitution) are scheduled as part of the same procedure.

How to Register for the Official Exam

1. Log in to your MIGRIS account — you need an already-assigned Lithuanian personal code (asmens kodas); registration is not possible without one.
2. Find the registration section for the constitution exam (LR Konstitucijos pagrindų egzaminas) and choose an available date and location.
3. Pay the €14 exam fee using the details that appear once your registration is confirmed — the payment goes to a VMI account.
4. Wait for confirmation: your slot is only reserved once the payment has arrived, not the moment you submit the form.

If you are registering for the exam on a basis other than a residence permit or citizenship application, the procedure may differ — in that case it is worth checking directly on the official website of the National Education Agency (NSA) rather than in MIGRIS.
